What is CIT?

Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT), also known as microneedling is a medical cosmetic procedure that uses fine needles to puncture the skin and create controlled skin injuries. This rejuvenates the skin, stimulates collagen production, and allows topical products to penetrate the skin deeply and effectively.

eDermaStamp Overview

Licensed and approved by Health Canada meeting all certification requirements and standards for medical-grade equipment, manufacturing materials, sterile packaging, and professionalism. It is the Gold Standard in CIT technology.

Please be aware that there are a number of imitation manufacturers that are not Licensed or approved by Health Canada that cause more long-term harm and damage to your skin, health and safety.

Safe Micro-Needles

The Medical Grade micro-needles of the eDermaStamp are nontraumatic and respect the integrity of the epidermis and dermis. The eDermaStamp is an electric CIT device created by Dermaroller that works to minimize the appearance of:

How eDermaStamp works and why is it beneficial?

eDermaStamp is a simple, minimally invasive process that is divided into three steps:

1. Treatment
Using special micro- needles more than a million small punctures are created in the dermis, penetrating the skin in different depths.

2. Healing Cascade
“Controlled damage” allows the small wounds to heal correctly.

3. Healthy and Younger Looking Skin
New collagen and elastin formed, cell to cell communication is improved, and damaged skin is replaced with new skin that has better structure and elasticity.

PLEASE NOTE: Kylie will perform an analysis to determine the integrity of your skin to establish if you are an ideal candidate for micro-needling/mesotherapy. It is essential to have a level of balance and structure to lessen the sensitive response and to minimize adverse reactions.

How does the treatment feel and what should I expect?

The feeling you should expect is quite tolerable due to the topical numbing agent that decreases the sensation of the oscillating micro-needles.

Everyone’s skin is unique and responds differently. The first 3 treatments are often an assessment point to discover how your skin is responding. We will be able to determine the appropriate number of treatments required to address your concerns.

However, the norm is the following:
• Some red appearance and a tight feeling similar to a mild sunburn. For the first week your skin might feel dry, tight and dehydrated.
• Increased sensitivity (Note: Please follow proper aftercare, homecare with proper sterile product that we recommend).

Post Treatment Instructions

• Avoid sun exposure for at least 24 hours
• Non-comedogenic sunblock cream can be applied after 24 hours
• Avoid any makeup or other irritating unsterile products for at least 24 hours
• Avoid touching the skin
• Only wash with lukewarm water before going to bed
• We will recommend appropriate products for aftercare

Post Treatment Products

Part of the treatment requirement is the purchase of a few key sterile products to ensure proper and professional aftercare. Please note your skin goes from a 7% absorption rate to 80% after CIT Treatment so the use of these products are essential! You will be given 2 ampules of sterile hyaluronic serum and the remains of your sheet masque from your treatment to take home for further soothing comfort.

How often can I have a treatment?

For the best results, it is recommended to have 3 treatments, 6 weeks apart from one another. The results will be most noticeable one to two months after the last session. In order to maintain the results, a follow-up treatment is recommended 6 months after the last session.
